View data the way you like!
Use the Internet functionality within the
program!
View Page displays the data and images in a Web page format. Displaying a record in Web page format allows you to benefit from the full potential of the browser and the Internet new technologies.
View Page displays records in a simple row form (no HTML template file loaded) or in a complex, fully customizable form through HTML template files. View Page accepts HTML files with keywords that represent data fields. Before the HTML file is displayed in the View Page all keywords are replaced with data contents.
There
is no limit on the number of ways you could display your data in the
View Page. The integration of data and the browser gives advanced
users unlimited flexibility with adding new custom functionality
that already is provided by the Internet. You can easily:
- Create custom HTML layouts for viewing
your data (select the font size, background color, fields
layout, display data in rows or tables, display data in any
order, include all or selected fields, display one field in
several places).
- Create several HTML template
files that will allow you to display and view data
depending on the current requirements.
- Create HTML
template files that you can use as letter templates, report
templates, or any document forms.
- Integrate data
with the Internet resources, search engines, mapping systems,
multimedia, ActiveX Controls,..
Each
specialized Organizer Deluxe contains samples that show how data fields can
be integrated with ready-to-use Internet resources. Some examples:
- Address Organizer Deluxe: contains an
HTML template file which shows how you can find
a location on a map for a given address.
- Music Organizer Deluxe:
contains an HTML template file which shows how you can use
MP3 search engine within the program.
- Movie Organizer Deluxe:
contains an HTML template file which shows how you can
find additional information about your movie using the largest
Internet Movie Database.
- Recipe Organizer
Deluxe: contains an HTML template file which shows how
you can use Internet Recipe Search Engine and Food Dictionary.
Important!
- View Page could be the top page after starting the program.
You can change this setting in the Options window
(Options / User Interface / Miscellaneous Options / View Tab
On Top
).
- View Page
always remembers the last HTML template file.
- Each database
file should have different HTML template file. Read about View
Page in Organizer's Help.
- All
HTML template files should be stored in
C:\YOUR_ORGANIZER\DATA\VIEW\
directory. This directory is created automatically during the
installation of the program.
- Our customized HTML template files contain JavaScript code. You should be able to run them on the following browsers: IE3, IE4+, NS3, NS4+. In the case of any problem delete the View Template File or change the View Tab On Top option.
- You can also view custom HTML template files in your Windows browser. Just uncheck the following option:
Options Window / User Interface /
Miscellaneous Options / Internal Web Browser.
It is not recommended if your HTML template file contains links to another template file. If you try to open a new template file in the external browser the keywords will not be replaced with data fields. Our examples should be viewed in the Organizer's View Page (Internal Web Browser).
